Memorial Services for Mr. Jimmy Mikell will be held Sunday, February 11, 2018,at 3:00 PM at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Mikell passed away from this life on Thursday, February 8, 2018 in Hattiesburg. Reverend Terry Wallace will officiate. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. James Albert Mikell was born December 22, 1932 in Jefferson Davis County, MS to Jack and Winnie Oglesby Mikell. Mr. Mikell was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and his wife, Betty Mikell. Mr. Mikell is survived by his wife of 27 years, Patricia Mikell of Mt. Olive; one son, Jimmy (Tammy) Mikell of Norfolk, VA; one step-daughter, Tanya Brown of Wilson, NC; two grandchildren, James Mikell and Nicole Mikell; three step-grandchildren, Pricilla Florez, Samantha Florez and Melissa Florez; four great-grandchildren and one brother, Earl Mikell of Prentiss .
