Marguerite Daley

Funeral services were held Wednesday 10-8-2014 at St. Peters Catholic Church in Bassfield for Mrs. Marguerite Daley, age 95, who passed away on October 5, 2014 at her residence in Prentiss. Interment followed at St. James Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Father Peter Varghese and Deacon Bob Everard officiated. Pall bearers were, John David Hutchinson, Joseph Ray Daley, Justin Daley, James Hutchinson, Lance Daley and Johnnie Daley. Honorary pallbearers were, Henry Watkins, Greg Daley and Mark Willis. Marguerite was born on February 8, 1919. She was the daughter of Clown David Clark and Mary Cavanaugh. She was a mother and homemaker. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Bassfield. She is survived by her five sons, John Royce Daley of Mendenhall, Dallas “Buck” Daley of Ruth, Patrick Daley of Prentiss, Marshall Daley of Prentiss and George Daley of Monticello. Her four daughters, Jeanette Whitt of Trinity AL, Judy Smith Daley of Prentiss, Martha (James) Hutchinson of Bassfield, and Theresa Daley of Bassfield. Thirty grandchildren, fifty one great grandchildren and 7 great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, four sisters and six brothers.
