Kenneth W. Stephens

Funeral services were held Wednesday December 31, 2014 at Saulters Moore Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Kenneth William Stephens, age 68, who passed away on December 27, 2014 at Prentiss Jefferson Davis Hospital. Interment followed at Society Hill Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Tommy Broome officiated. Pall bearers were: Bo Foster, Donald Foster, Nick Foster, David Miller, Kenneth Hester, Chuck Pruitt, Big Shot (William) Stephens and Little Austin Buckley. Kenneth was born on October 13, 1946 in Prentiss Ms. He was the son of Shelby Otis Stephens and Berniece Blackmon Stephens. He attended PRCC for 2 years and he worked for 30 years as a salesman and truck driver for Prentiss Butane Gas Company. He was a member of Society Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, Kenneth H. (Leslie) Stephens of Petal, Ms. His daughter, Kim (Douglas) Patterson of Columbia, Ms. His step son, Lamar Brackeen of Chatanooga, TN. His two step daughters, Sheena Ducharme of Lake View, Fl. and Christine Harkness of Monticello, MS. His faithful companion Peppie.
