Mary Shinholster Lee

Funeral services were held Thursday March 19, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss , MS for Mrs. Mary Shinholster Lee, age 82, who passed away on March 17, 2015 at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood, MS. Interment followed at Brady Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Shawn Faulkner and Rev. Ben James officiated. Pall bearers were: Robbie Faulkner, Glen Hutson, C J Jenkins, Kyle Foster, Terry Mathis and Felix Bryan Mary Lee was born on August 11, 1932 in Tuscaloosa, AL. She was the daughter of Mr. Levi Jefferson Shinholster and Linnie Powell. She was the former owner of Lee’s Putt Putt for a number of years. She was on the Georgia Pacific catfish cooking team with her husband Walter. She was an active member of Prentiss Baptist Church and the lions club. She made a decision to dedicate her life to Christ and lived a life striving to be a good Christian. She was also dedicated to the care and needs of friends, family and Walter. She is survived by her son Greg Lee (Saundra) of Hattiesburg, MS. Two daughters, Darlene Gray (John) of Pearl, MS and Charlene McAlpin (Steve) of Prentiss, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter her daughter Angel three brothers and three sisters.
