Kathleen Magee Polk

Funeral services were held Thursday June 4, 2015 at Phalti Baptist Church in Prentiss, MS for Kathleen Polk who passed away May 31, 2015 at Jefferson Davis County Hospital in Prentiss, MS. Interment followed at Phalti Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Billy Bridges officiated. Pall bearers were: Freddie Hutton, Travis Langley, Reggie Magee, Billy Parish, James Parish and Jim Polk Lula Kathleen Magee Polk was born April 5, 1920 in Jefferson Davis County, MS. She was the daughter of Robert Pearson Magee and Myrtiss Miller Magee. She worked as a home economist and retired from the MS Cooperative Extension Service. She was an active member of Phalti Baptist Church. She is survived by her Husband, Robert Polk of Prentiss, MS; her son, Pete Polk (Judy) of Prentiss, MS; two daughters, Shirley Stough (Jerry) of Picayune, MS and JoAnn Montgomery (Whitt) of Birmingham, AL; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; three stepsons, Robert Earl Polk, Jr. of Purvis, MS, Harold Polk of Brookhaven, MS and Gerald Polk of Madison, MS.
