Doris Ballard

Funeral services were held Tuesday August 18, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Saulters Moore Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Jessie Doris Ballard, age 92, who passed away on August 15, 2015 at her residence in Prentiss, MS. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. Dewayne Mayo officiated. Pall bearers were: Kurt Suessi, Tyler Stuessi, Michael Whitehead, Martin Roberson, Justin Roberson and Tony Henson Doris was born on May 18, 1923 in Wesson, MS. She was the daughter of Mr. John Howard Sanders and Mrs. Ruby Jones Sanders. She worked for Edward Hyman and New Hebron Manufacturing Company as a seamstress and supervisor. She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Lott of Prentiss, MS (Reggie); six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and her sister Estelle Whitley of Edwards, MS.
