Funeral Services were held Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel, Prentiss, MS for Mr. Albert Joseph Bouchard, age 81, of Silver Creek, MS who passed away at Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello on July 2, 2016. Interment followed in Cliburn Cemetery, Silver Creek, MS. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss handled arrangements. Rev. Chad Carney officiated. Pallbearers were Eric Purvis, Jim Purvis, Larry Davis, Michael Daughdrill, Robert Rawls, Brett Rawls, and Chance Rawls. Al Bouchard was born December 11, 1934 in Manchester, New Hampshire. He was the son of Albert Henry and Marion Hildreth Bouchard. He was a member of Crooked Creek Baptist Church. He worked as a draftsman for Taylor Machines for a number of years in Louisville, MS, M.R.S. Manufacturing in Flora, MS and MP&L Power Co. Al served in the U.S Air Force and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Mignyon Dampeer Bouchard of Brookhaven, MS, two daughters: Darlene Purvis of Long Beach, MS and Carolyn Mahoney of West Monroe, LA; two step-sons: Robert Rawls and Bill Rawls both of Silver Creek, MS; one sister, Loraine Poston of Flowood, MS; 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, two grandchildren, one sister, and one brother. Online condolences and a guest registry are available at
