Mildred K. Tyrone

Funeral Services were held Saturday July 30, 2016 at Saulters Moore Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Mildred Kathleen Tyrone, age 90, who passed away on July 28, 2016 at her residence. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss was in charge of all arrangements. Rev. John Barnes Jr., Rev. Ben James and Arthur Mitchell Officiated. Pall bearers were Marty Tyrone, Jake Tyrone, Brian Tyrone, Josh Tyrone, Blane Tyrone and David Smith. Honorary Bearers were her Sunday school class at Prentiss Baptist Church. Mrs. Mildred was a native of Prentiss, MS she was born January 19, 1926 in Jefferson Davis County, MS to Mr. William F. “Bill” Langston and Lorena Garner Langston. She graduated from Carson high school. She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. S. M. Everitt seventeen years before they closed his office. Then she worked for Lee & Company for seven years in the store. She was a member of Prentiss Baptist Church and she loved her church family. She was a member of D.A.R. as long as they had a chapter in Prentiss. She is survived by her three sons, Edward Tyrone of Brandon, MS, Ned Tyrone (Deb) of Brandon, MS and Glenn Tyrone (Debbie) of Hattiesburg, MS; Five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; also, a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Tyrone, Sr.; her brother, Edwin F. Langston and her sister, Joyce Hoover.
