Joyce Kirkley

Carson, Mississippi Funeral Rites for Joyce Kirkley will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Dublin Baptist Church. Mrs. Kirkley, age 81, passed away from this life on Friday, October 14, 2016 in Prentiss. Reverend Robert Cooper, Reverend Terry Wallace, and Reverend Robert Sones will officiate. Reverend Terry Wallace and Mrs. Rose Bruce will provide the musical service. Interment will be in Dublin Baptist Church Cemetery. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Russell McAllister, Preston Williams, Tommy Brumfield, Reggie Myers, Anthony Polk, James White and Prince White, Jr. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Tim White and Eddie Reynolds. Joyce Nell Nations Kirkley was born on July 10, 1935 in Silver Creek to Henry Nations and Lena Ward Nations. Mrs. Kirkley was a retired housekeeper from the Jefferson Davis County Hospital and was a member of Dublin Baptist Church. Preceding Mrs. Kirkley in death were her mother and father; her husband of 38 years, Virgil Kirkley; and a sister, Ruthie Hamilton. Survivors are 2 daughters, Dwanna Raynes Reynolds of Carson and Debbie Kirkley Farmer and her husband Huiel of Picayune; 1 son, Dan Kirkley of Prentiss; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 nephew, Archie Hamilton of New Orleans, LA; as well as a host of other relatives, and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home and Thursday from 10:00am until 2:00pm at Dublin Baptist Church.
