Magee, Mississippi Funeral Rites for Martha Curtis were held at 2:00pm on Sunday, November 13, 2016 in the Chapel of Saulters-Moore Funeral Home. Mrs. Curtis, age 84, passed away from this life on Friday, November 11, 2016 in Magee. Dwayne Mayo officiated and Wesley Lee provided the musical service. Interment followed in the Lone Star Cemetery. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were: Justin Burns, Scott Ward, Phillip Brossette, John Lee, Charlie Easterling, and Mike Easterling. Martha Niece Crosby Curtis was born on April 9, 1932 in Seminary to Sam Crosby and Annie Davis Crosby. Mrs. Curtis was a homemaker and a member of Lone Star Methodist Church. Preceding Mrs. Curtis in death were her mother and father; her husband, James Curtis; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors are her 2 daughters, Sheila McRaney of Collins and Jo Ann Laird; 1 sister, Paulene Armstrong of Gulfport; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives, and friends.
