Myrtis White

Funeral services were held Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Saulters Moore Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Myrtis Alene White, age 77, who passed away November 20, 2016 in Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Interment followed in Dublin Cemetery. Saulters- Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss, MS handled arrangements. Rev. Robert Sones officiated. Pallbearers were: Dawson McLendon, Timothy McLendon, Bubba James “BJ” McLendon, Christopher McLendon, Michael McLendon, Robert Eugene McLendon, Collin McLendon and Justice Yasko. Mrs. Myrtis was born in Jackson, MS on September 3, 1939 to John E. Summerline and Frankie Wade Summerline. She was a nurse’s aide, homemaker and worked at Edward Hyman for a number of years. She is survived by her husband, Thomas White of Prentiss, MS; Two sons, Robert McLenden and Charles McLenden both of Prentiss; One daughter, Debra Mixon of Gonzales, LS; Eleven grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; Five brothers, John Summerline of Twin Falls, ID, Tommy Summerline of Ocean Side, CA, Capers Summerline of Naples, ID, Jackie Summerline of Los Angeles, CA and Marvin Summerline of Baton Rouge, LA.
