Jeffrey Todd Sykes

Funeral Rites for Jeffrey Todd Sykes will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 25, 2016 in the Chapel of Saulters-Moore Funeral Home. Mr. Sykes, age 46, passed away from this life on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in Mendenhall. Reverend Mike Grenn will officiate and interment will be in the New Hebron Cemetery. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Boog Stephens, Jason Riley, Jason Huffman, Mark Berry, Jackie Daughdrill, and Brandon Sykes. Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Williams, Fred Robinson, and Victor Johnson. Jeffrey Todd Sykes was born on December 24, 1969 in Mendenhall to David Sykes, Sr. and Nancy Daughdrill Sykes. Mr. Sykes was a mechanic and attended New Hebron Baptist Church. Mr. Sykes was preceded in death by his father. Survivors are 2 daughters, Rumor Sykes of New Hebron and Memory McAlpin of West Orange, TX; his mother, Nancy Sykes of Pinola; 2 brothers, David Sykes, Jr. and Tony Sykes, both of New Hebron; 2 sisters, Debbie McDaniel and Pam O’Brien, also of New Hebron; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
