Mattie Earline Bridges

Funeral services were held Friday, December 16, 2016 at Saulters Moore Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mrs. Mattie Earline Chance Bridges age 77, who passed away December 13, 2016 at the extended care facility in Prentiss. Interment followed in Brady Cemetery. Saulters- Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss, MS handled arrangements. Rev. Ken Roberts officiated. Pallbearers were Raleigh Smith, Eric Fite, Kenneth Fite, James Corn Hunt, Justin Feilder and D.J. Burges. Mrs. Mattie was born in Covington County, MS on March 31, 1939 to Udis Brown and Mattie Lee Lofton. She was a plant worker in a poultry plant. She was member of Santee Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Smith (David) of Carson, MS and Monica Fite (Eric) of Foxworth, MS. Five sons, Robert Hartfield of Hattiesburg, MS, Fred Allen Hartfield of Poplarville, MS, Harold Hartfield (Annette) of Poplarville, Raymon Hartfield (Sherry) of Bogalusa, LA and Alston Glen Chance of Prentiss, MS. One sister, Shirley Wilson of Prentiss & one brother, Dewey Brown of Poplarville. She was preceded in death by her parents; One son, Daniel J.
