Graveside Funeral Rites for Mr. Dennis Jones were held Monday, January 30, 2017 at the Jones Family Cemetery. Mr. Jones was 57 years of age and passed away from this life on Thursday, January 26, 2013, at his residence in Silver Creek. Reverend John Morris will officiate. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home handled arrangements. Pallbearers were Ronnie Hall, Quenton Gill, Walter Boleware, Mitchell Jones, Mitchell Boleware, and Robert Jones. Dennis James Jones was born in New Orleans, LA on September 28, 1959, to James Taylor Jones and Barbara Ann Jacob Jones. Mr. Jones was a carpenter and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father; 1 sister, Irene Edwards and 1 brother, Patrick Jones. Survivors are his wife of 31 years, Alice Jones of Silver Creek; his mother, Barbara Jones of Collins; 2 daughters, Kimberly Hall and her husband Ronnie of Gulfport and Elizabeth Gill and her husband Quenton of Silver Creek; 4 brothers, Michael Jones, James Jones, and Robert Jones, all of Collins, and Mitchell Jones and his wife Shilpa of Saucier; 3 sisters, Susan Warren and her husband Danny, Melinda Lucas and her husband Lavoid, and Diane Fortenberry and her husband James, all of Collins; and 5 grandchildren; as well a host of other relatives and friends.
