Helen Dyess

Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Landmark Baptist Church for Mrs. Helen Dyess, age 84, of Carson, MS who passed away February 25, 2017 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Interment followed at Landmark Cemetery. Rev. Mike Herrington officiated. Pallbearers were: Michael Dyess, Shawn Dyess, Joseph Dyess, Darren Brewer, Ricky Barrett and Mitchell Smith. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss handled all arrangements. Mrs. Dyess was born September 26, 1932 in Jefferson Davis County, MS. She was the daughter of Toxie Herrington and Letha Mae Dickson Herrington. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church. Mrs. Dyess is survived by her daughter, Sharon Brewer of Carson, MS; four sons; Elton Dyess (Joyce) of Sumrall, MS, Led Dyess (Sherly) of Carson, MS, Darrell Dyess of Carson, MS and Dale Dyess (Megan) of Carson, MS; Seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren; two brothers; Rev. Mike Herrington (Sonja) of Kerrville, TX and Lloyd Herrington (Rose) of Prentiss, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delton and one grandson.
