Robert Jenkins

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Robert D. Jenkins, age 56, of Carson, MS who passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 at his residence in Carson. Interment followed in Greens Creek Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss, MS was in charge of arrangements. Rev. Terry Wallace officiated. Pallbearers were: Tommy Brumfield, C.J. Jr., Ethan Jenkins, Austin Jenkins, James Earl Stephens, and Kevin Temple. Mr. Jenkins was born October 8, 1960 in Lumberton, MS. He served In the National Guard. He was a self-employed carpenter for forty years. He was a member at Santee Baptist Church. He is survived by one daughter, Vanessa Jenkins of Albany, LA; two sons, Robert Bryan Jenkins of Prentiss and David Allen Jenkins of Columbia, MS; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Jenkins of Prentiss and Ralph Jenkins of Hattiesburg, MS; three sisters, Louise Horning of Prentiss, Katherine Temple of Carson and Brenda Raynes of Carson.
