Kirk Raynes

Funeral services were held Monday, March 6, 2017 at Green’s Creek Baptist Church in Carson, MS for Mr. Kirk Dewayne Raynes, age 65, of Carson, who passed away March 2, 2017 at his residence in Oakvale, MS. Interment followed in Greens Creek Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss, MS was in charge of arrangements. Rev. Bob Burge officiated. Pallbearers were: Ray Davis, Mitchell Smith, Darrell Dyess, Dale Dyess, Mike Dyess and Damon Smith Mr. Raynes was born April 20, 1951 in Prentiss, MS. He served In the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a truck driver and a member of Greens Creek Baptist Church. He is survived by one daughter, Tammy Spelman (Michael) of Oakvale, MS; Two brothers, Gregory P. Raynes of Prentiss, MS and Rex N. Raynes (Mary) of Carson, MS; Grandchildren, Dustin Brewer, Eric Brewer, Wade Brewer and Destiny Raynes; one great granddaughter, Alexis Brewer. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Edward Earl Raynes; two sons, Michael Dewayne Raynes and Clifton L. Raynes.
