Eddie Delous Hough

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Bassfield High School Gym. In Bassfield, MS. for Mr. Eddie Delous Hough, age 74, of Bassfield, MS who passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at his residence in Bassfield, MS. Interment will follow in Bassfield Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday July 26, 2017 from 5:30 to 9:00pm at the same Gym. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss, MS was in charge of arrangements. Reverend‘s Charles Burnham, Ken Roberts and Randy Gardner will officiate. Pallbearers are: Paul Jackson, Lance Garner, Sean McRaney, Christopher Mc Raney, Wade Jackson and Cade Jackson. Coach Hough was born November 28, 1942 in Sylvarena, MS in Smith County to Benjamin D. Hough and Mary Helen Chandler Hough. After attending USM, he played football for Jones JC and Basketball for Southeastern Bible College in Laurel. He then went on to be a Teacher and Coach for Bassfield High School. He was a member of Whitesand Baptist Church. He is survived by; his wife of 51 years, Jan Hough of Bassfield; Two daughters, Michele Jackson (Paul) of Bassfield and Kristie Garner (Lance) of Prentiss, MS; Four grandchildren and one great grandchild; Five sisters, Liz Borum of Jacksonville, FL, Sandy McWhinney of Melbourne, FL, Karen Simmons of Brandon, MS, Kathy Warren of Mt.
