Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Saulters Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Prentiss, MS for Mr. Hulon Broom, age 85, of Flowood, MS who passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Jackson, MS. Interment will follow in Society Hill Cemetery. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss, MS is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 1:30 to 3:00 PM at Saulters Moore Funeral Home. Reverend Mike Herrington will officiate. Pallbearers will be: Wilson Lawrence, Danny Broom, John Shivers, Luke Gehbauer, Maurine Herrington and Charles Beard. Mr. Broom was born August 14, 1931 in Natchez, MS to Willie W. Broom and Annie Herrington. He was a painting contractor in the construction business. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. He is survived by; his wife of sixty four years, Eva Broom of Flowood, two sons, Doug (Cheryl) Broom of Brandon, MS and Danny (Rebecca) Broom of Madison, MS, two grandchildren, Candace Blahah ad Camille Eiland, two great grandchildren, Elle Eiland and Eva Blahah.
