Carson Doris J. Little Funeral Services for Doris J. Little will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at St. Peters Catholic Church. Mrs. Little, age 75, passed away from this life Saturday, October 21, 2017 in Carson. Father Peter Kmiecik will officiate and interment will follow in St. James Cemetery. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Larry Daley, Wayne Daley, Richard Hathorn, Dalton Little, Russell Stamps, and Richard Thiele. Doris Lillian Jackson Little was born on May 15, 1942 in Jefferson Davis County to Isaac Kirby Jackson and Berta Daley Jackson. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peters Catholic Church. Mrs. Little was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, David Little, Jr.; 2 sons, Mark Little and David Little; a grandson, Shawn Little, a sister, Carolyn Miller; and a nephew, Terry Brown. Survivors include a son, James Little of Rawl Springs; 2 daughters, Monica Eason of Carson and Jessica Eason Broome(Josh) of Prentiss; 2 sisters, Johnnie Rose Brown (Melvin) of Magee and Nancy Kendrick of Gonzales, TX; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 6 nephews; 2 nieces; as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00am until 11:00am at St. Peters Catholic Church.
