Jack Steverson

Funeral services will be held Sunday , November 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel for Mr. Jack Steverson, age 72, of Hattiesburg, MS who passed away November 18, 2017 in Forrest General Hospital. Interment will follow in New Hebron Cemetery. Reverend Glen Edwards will officiate. Pallbearers will be; Lonnie Steverson, Devin Steverson, Shawn Steverson, William Fortenberry, Wayne Fortenberry, Darren Sherman and Timmy Clark. Saulters Moore Funeral Home of Prentiss is in charge of all arrangements. Visitation will be November 26, 2017 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm before the service. Mr. Steverson was born November 3, 1945 in Atlanta, GA. He was the son of Lloyd Steve Steverson and Mary Frances Roe Steverson. He was a consultant in the oil and gas industry. He was a member of University Assembly of God in Hattiesburg. Mr. Steverson is survived by three sons, Doug Steverson, II of Sumrall, Shawn Steverson of Hattiesburg and Devin Steverson (Melissa) of Petal; Four grandchildren, Hannah, Kayla, Seth and Garrett; One brother, Luther “Buddy” Steverson (Mary Ann) of Prentiss. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; one sister and one granddaughter, Katie Elizabeth Steverson.
