Funeral Services for Mrs. Janie Atwood will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Atwood passed away from this life on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 in Prentiss. Reverend Charles Burnham will officiate and interment will be in the Mack Graves Cemetery. Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be; Charles Lott, III, Mark McRaney, Jr., Charles Wayne Lott, Raleigh Smith, John Leggett, Jamie Carter. Janie Marie Atwood was born December 25, 1941 in Covington County to Elbert Monroe Shoemake and Dolby Yates Shoemake. She was a homemaker. She was a member of White Sand Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; one daughter, Doris Lott; one son, Johnny Lott and two brothers, Jimmy Shoemake and Lavon Shoemake. Mrs. Atwood is survived by her three sons, James Charles Lott of Prentiss, Robert Wayne Lott of Prentiss and Charles T.(Cynthia) Lott, Jr. of Collins; one daughter, Judy L. Floyd of Prentiss; sixteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; three sisters, Eva Carter and Joyce Carter of Seminary, and Eunice Rockholt of Quanna, TX. Visitation will be Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 1:30 to 3:00 pm at Saulters Funeral Home before the service.
