Ann Ward

Graveside services for Ms. Ann Ward will be held at 10:00 am Saturday morning, September 13, 2025, at Ward Cemetery in Carson. Brother Luke Laird will officiate.  Saulters Moore Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Family and friends are invited to begin gathering at 9:30 am at the cemetery.

Ann was born on December 8, 1945, in Jefferson Davis County to Riley and Velma McNease Ward.  Formerly of Jackson, she was a retired ticketing agent with Delta Airlines for many years.  After her retirement, Ann moved home to Prentiss, where she had resided for the last several years. However, because of her declining health, she had moved to Arkansas to live with family in recent years.  Ann was a member of the Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Riley and Velma Ward, and her sister, Shirley Ward Bass.

She is survived by her brothers, Jimmy R. Ward of Carson, John Larry Ward of Star City, AR, and a host of nieces and nephews.
