Betty Gibson Bridges

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Gibson Bridges will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Whitesand Baptist Church. Mrs. Bridges, age 81, passed away from this life on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at her residence in Prentiss. Reverend Rudy Jackson will officiate. Interment will follow in Whitesand Cemetery. Saulters-Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Elliott Bridges, Jason Bridges, Zachary Bridges, William Bridges, Bradley Bridges and Michael Bridges. Betty Gibson Bridges was born on May 13,1939 in Cypress, LA to Willie Gibson and Edna Owens Gibson. Mrs. Bridges was a homemaker and she was a member of the Whitesand Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gerald Truitt and 1 son. Mrs. Bridges is survived by 2 sons, Michael Bridges of Williston, ND and Bradley Bridges (Wendy) of Hoover, AL; 1 sister Mary Sue Etheridge (Doyle) of Mt. Olive; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Whitesand Baptist Church.
