Memorial services for Mr. C. L. Mayhew, Sr. will be held, Friday, April 5, 2019 from 6:00 PM until, at the Columbia Country Club in Columbia, MS. Mr. Mayhew, age 64, passed away Friday, March 29, 2019 in Bassfield, MS. Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. C. L. Mayhew, Sr. was born on March 6, 1955 in Arkansas to Mr. Coy Lee Mayhew and Mrs. Agnes Smith Mayhew. After serving our country in the U.S. Army. He became a crew chief for American Airlines and held that position for 25 plus years. He was preceded in death by his father and several grandchildren. Mr. Mayhew is survived by his fiancé, Glenda Johnson of Bogue Chitto; three sons, C. L. Mayhew, Jr. of Waxahachie, TX, Aaron Don Mayhew of Weatherford, TX and Lance Mayhew of Ft. Worth, TX; two daughters, Terri Sue Hunter of Halton City, TX and Terra Mayhew of Oklahoma City, OK; One step son, Josh Cramer of Benbrook, TX; Mother, Agnes Mayhew of Boyd, TX; three sisters, Shirley Hogue, Mary Lemieux and Carolyn Reed; two brothers, Jackie and Billy Mayhew.
