Graveside services for Mr. Cleatus Earl Worthy, Jr., will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, December 10, 2020, in the Daniel King Family Cemetery. Mr. Worthy, age 83, passed away from this life on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at his residence near Prentiss. Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Cleatus Earl Worthy, Jr. was born on March 28, 1937 in Jefferson Davis County to Cleatus Earl Worthy, Sr. and Rita King Worthy. Mr. Worthy was an Oiler with Georgia Pacific. He attended Santee Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; five brothers and sisters. Mr. Worthy is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carrianna Worthy of Prentiss; 1 son, Fredrick Earl Worthy (Vicki) of Vidalia, LA; 3 daughters, Ryda Catherine Worthy (Terry Lee) of Foxworth, Rachel Elizabeth Worthy (Keli Beal) of Jackson and Sarah Frances Broome (Jeffery) of Prentiss; 2 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Paul Worthy of Ft. Myers, FL and 2 sisters, Nancy Weir of New Orleans, LA and Mavis Bagley of Collins. Visitation will be Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 1:00pm until 1:30 pm at the Daniel King Family Cemetery.
