Cindy Daley

Mrs. Cynthia Ann "Cindy" Daley of Carson, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021 in Prentiss, MS. Born December 15, 1961 in Prentiss, she was 59 years old. Funeral services for Cindy will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2021, 11:00 am at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home Chapel with Father Chinnappa Raj Mark officiating. Interment will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Carson. Pallbearers will be, Wesley Eakes, Wesley Eakes, Jr., Blake Sylvest, Brennan Sylvest, Mitchell Chapman, Joey Jones, Levator Adams and Jeffrey Adams. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home. Cindy earned a bachelor degree in Nutrition and was the Food Service Director for Jefferson Davis County Schools. She enjoyed making Christmas ornaments and was known for her “World Famous” Brownies. Cindy's loving and nurturing spirit extended well beyond her immediate family, as many referred to her as "Aunt Cindy", while others simply called her "Mama". Cindy was preceded in death by her Father, Michael Eugene Daley and her brother, Christopher Anthony Daley. Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Mrs. Ethel Atwood Delaware (Rob) of Bassfield; her step-mother, Angelia Daley; Her boyfriend, Larry Russell of Carson, and her 2 children, Jade Graves and Jaxon Skinner of Carson. She also leaves behind 3 sisters; Lisa Kaye Sylvest (Mikey) of Bassfield, Diane Hillman (Trent) of Melba, and Michelle Daley (Don) of Bassfield. 5 Brothers, Roland Daley of Bassfield and Michael Daley (Shelly) of Helena, AL, Jason Purvis, Josh Purvis and Jeremy Purvis; Cindy is also survived by her granddaughter, Julionna Hartzog of Carson; 3 goddaughters, Andrea (Caspian, Channing, Cambel), Carla (Makhi), and Latesha (Jy’Kierra, Caira, Laniyha); as well as a host of nieces and nephews of whom she loved very much.
