Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Cody Lagasse Westmoreland will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 29, 2020, at the Springhill Cemetery in Shivers. Mrs. Westmoreland was 75 years of age and passed away from this life on Friday, June 26, 2020, in Magee. Reverend Earl Clark will officiate. Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Dorothy Carolyn Cody Lagasse Westmoreland was born on March 20, 1945, in Simpson County to L.D. Cody and Ina Bell Russell Cody. Mrs. Westmoreland was the retired manager of Tillman Furniture in Magee. She was a member of Shivers Baptist Church. Mrs. Westmoreland was preceded in death by her mother and father; her first husband, Lloyd Lagasse; 1 granddaughter, Meghan Lopez; and 2 brothers, Charles Cody and Harold Cody. Survivors include her husband, Gerald Westmoreland of Shivers and her daughter, Dena Klein (Richie) of Slidell, LA; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
