Edwin E. "Eddie" Rogers

Graveside services for Mr. Eddie Rogers will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, March 1, 2019 at New Hebron Cemetery. Mr. Rogers, age 89, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS.  Reverend George Owens and Reverend Earl Clark will officiate. Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Edwin E. “Eddie” Rogers was born in New Hebron, MS on October 28, 1929  to Sylvester Rogers and Gladys Sills Rogers.  Mr. Rogers was a Corporal in the United States Army and he served in the Korean War.  He was a retired brick mason in the construction industry. He was a member of New Hebron Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and one sister, Edwina Lee. Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn Rogers of New Hebron; 2 daughters, Melissa (Aaron) Hagan of Hong Kong and Dana Rogers of Dallas, GA; 1 son, Edwin Earl (Laura) Rogers,II of Brookhaven and three grandchildren, Kirksey, Kiley and Chloe Hagan.
