Graveside services for Mrs. Georgia Green Miller will be conducted at 3:00 PM Monday, June 6, 2022, at Calhoun Cemetery. Mrs. Miller, age 78, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at St. Dominic’s Hospital on June 4, 2022. Georgia Green Miller of Silver Creek, Mississippi was born on April 4, 1944 in Laurel, MS to Johnnie and Mildred Gorden Green. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, she had a passion for caring for animals, cooking, painting, and ceramics. She loved music, especially Elvis Presley, who sang her favorite song, “Unchained Melody.” Above all else, she enjoyed pampering her unique dog and loving companion, Banjo. Georgia joins her daughter, Teresa Blakeney, in Heaven. Georgia was preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Green; brother, Johnnie Green; father, Johnnie C. Green; mother, Mildred Gordan Green. Survivors include one daughter, Tracy Dyess (Danny) of Columbia, MS; Robin Kudulis (John) of Alabama; Ronnie Green (Paula) of Laurel; two grandsons, Mason Dyess and Colby Dyess (Tiffany); one granddaughter, Presley Stovall (Spencer); four great grandchildren, Brayden Dyess, Benton Dyess, Holly Grace Dyess, and Paisley Stovall.
