The road got a little quieter on April 25th, 2025, when Glen Paul Davis (GP), at age 73, traded in his wheels for wings and took his final ride. Glen was born on September 10, 1951, in Columbus, MS, to Rex and Donna Davis. He spent his early years sneaking to school without shoes and working hard for his father on the family farm. He often joked that he would wake up early Saturday morning and hit the woods before “Daddy found me a job to do”. This only set the foundation for a lifetime of a hard work ethic. Starting at age 16, Glen gave up school to start a career in the oilfield. He spent years working on oil rigs before moving into the pipe fitting business. Glen prided himself on excelling at every position he held. He liked to brag about moving to the top of every job and becoming “The Boss” before it was all over. He worked with many hometown locals along the way, and the stories they tell will surely help keep his memory alive. After a long and fulfilling career, Glen retired and enjoyed his days mowing the lawn, cherishing moments with his grandchildren, and riding his motorcycle with Kim. During the last five years of his life, he bravely battled liver cancer, fighting with great strength until it became too much to bear. Glen was born and raised in the catholic faith, although he wasn’t able to attend his local church regularly, his faith remained steadfast throughout his life.

Glen is survived by his partner in crime Kim Smith; four daughters, Candice Knight, Ceyann Williams (Ed), Laura Davis (Isabel), Jessica Honea (Zac); one son, Chase Davis; brother David Davis (Linda), and one sister Kathy Sharpley (Mark). He was a proud dad and pawpaw. If you lined up all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they would stretch from here to Sturgis. He also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews.

Glen is preceded in death by his parents, Rex and Donna Davis, siblings Gary Davis, Johnny Davis, and Lesia Davis, and many fellow riders who have gone before him.

Glen lived a life on his own terms, with no regrets. He lived his life with a code: Loyalty, Honor, and Freedom above all else. His word was his bond, and his handshake meant more than a signed contract. He was a brother to many, a legend to most, and a stranger to no one. He made countless memories riding alongside brothers of the road, always finding joy in the journey and the bonds forged along the way. He loved without asking for anything in return and lived without apology. Glen was a proud original member of the HNDW motorcycle club. His loyal brothers and sisters will forever keep his spirit alive with every mile they travel. He will be missed by all.

Ride free, GP. The road never ends; it just gets higher.
