Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Louise Horning will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Green Creek Baptist Church with the Reverend Tom Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in the Greens Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Horning, age 75, entered into the eternal rest of her Lord Saturday, February 14, 2026, at her home in Prentiss. Saulters Moore Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 18, from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm at Greens Creek Baptist Church.

Mrs. Horning will be carried to her final rest by those honored to serve as pallbearers, including James Earl Stephens, Danny Lee Ross, Brandon Henry, Robert Earl Stephens, Dustin Jenkins, and Christopher Stephens.

Louise was born on May 17, 1950, in Carson, Mississippi, to Claude and Pauline Dyess Jenkins. A long-time resident of Jefferson Davis County, she was a homemaker. Her daughters will cherish the memories they have of their mother, especially the wonderful meals she prepared, including her Gumbo and Etouffee. She also enjoyed quilting and was active in the Jefferson Davis-Covington Baptist Association and the Baptist Women's Missionary Union (WMU). Mrs. Horning was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Horning.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her daughters, Donna Stephens (James Earl), Ashley Horning, both of Prentiss, Rebecca Henry of Hammond, LA; and 1 sister, Katherine Temple of Carson. The legacy of their mawmaw will also live on through her grandchildren, Robert Earl Stephens, Christopher Stephens, Dylan Stephens, Jonathan Henry, Brandon Henry, Anthony Henry, Gavin Horning, Greyson Horning, Ashton Stringer, and 8 great-grandchildren.
