Grace Rogers

Funeral services for Mrs. Grace Rogers will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Reverend French Tripp and Reverend Terry Wallace will officiate. Mrs. Rogers, age 93, entered into the eternal rest of her Lord early Tuesday morning, February 22, 2022, at the Jefferson Davis Extended Care Facility in Prentiss. Saulters Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Grace Luncford Rogers was born on May 18, 1928, in Sibley, Louisiana to Glen and Leola Grant Luncford. Mrs. Rogers was a graduate of the School of Nursing in Shreveport, LA and she went on to serve as a Registered Nurse for over 20 years. She and her husband would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this March 30th. In addition to gardening, Mrs. Rogers enjoyed sending and receiving greeting cards. She was a member of Prentiss Presbyterian Church. Her memory will forever be cherished by her husband, S.L. Rogers of Prentiss; 4 nieces, Elaine Bridges, Kathryn Langston, Joyce Hall, Nancy Moses; and 1 nephew, Rodney Rogers, as well as 8 great nieces. Serving as Pallbearers are Rodney Rogers, Steve Bridges, Ty Langston, Adam Hall, Garrett Mahaney and Monte Magee. The family will receive friends Thursday morning, February 24, 2022 from 9:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM at Saulters Moore Funeral Home.
