Graveside services for Mr. Grady Harold Smith will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday morning, June 9, 2026, at the Santee Methodist Cemetery in Bassfield. The Reverend Ted Bowlin will officiate. Mr. Smith, age 71, passed away at his home in Corpwell, AL on Thursday, June 4, 2026. Saulters Moore Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

There will be a visitation on Tuesday morning from 10:00 am until 10:30 am at Saulters Moore Funeral Home before departing in procession for the graveside service.

Grady was born on May 20, 1955, in Jefferson Davis County to Walter Ralph Smith and Nina Pearl Harvey Smith.  An electrician for many years, Grady also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Ralph Smith in 1955; his mother and step-father, Nina Pearl and Marvin Rayborn; sister, Nina Fay Graves; brother, Carley Cleat Smith; and his sister-in-law, Kathleen Smith.

Mr. Smith is survived by his brothers, Kenneth Smith of Bradenton, FL, Tommy Joe Rayborn of Pearl; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
