Funeral services for Reverend Harold David Braneff will be conducted at 6:00 PM, Sunday, March 20, 2022 at First Pentecostal Church in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 20, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM, at First Pentecostal Church in Jackson. Louisiana Arrangements: Family and friends will gather at 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at the First Pentecostal Church in Starks, LA. There will be a procession to the Clark Cemetery with the graveside service commencing at 11:00 AM. Rev. Harold David Braneff, 86, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022, at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. Born January 31, 1936, in Starks, LA, Reverend Braneff was a licensed minister of the United Pentecostal Church International for over 65 years; pastoring churches in Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas. He cherished his Apostolic heritage and his family. Reverend Braneff was a loved and respected minister, gentleman, husband, and father. He was preceded in death by his parents Levi “Shorty” and Rev. Iris Buxton Braneff and his beloved sister, Patsy Braneff Stanley. Reverend Braneff is survived by his wife of 65 years, Florence Erleen Tumlinson Braneff, of Jackson, MS; his 2 daughters, Judye Carol Braneff and Rahdona Janet Braneff, both of Jackson, MS; 2 brothers, Hubert Braneff (Caroline) of Big Woods, LA and Douglas Vannoy Braneff (Bridgette) of Bastrop, TX. He was also PopPop to Tiffany Burks and Alaura Burks. Reverend Braneff’s memory will also be cherished by a host of nieces and nephews.
