Hector Brinson

Funeral Services for Mr. Hector Brinson will be held Sunday, April 29, 2018, at 2:00 PM at Saulters Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Brinson passed away from this life on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Jeff Davis County Hospital. Reverend Jimmy McGee will officiate and interment will be in Prentiss Cemetery in Prentiss. Pallbearers were; Chandler Brinson, Cort Brinson, Cliff Rayburn, Mickey Lane, Eddie Ryan and Danny Sinclair.   Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.   Hector Brinson was born February 27, 1936 in Prentiss, MS to Alton C. Brinson and Velma Broome Brinson. He was in the U. S. Army in the 101st Airborne and the 82nd Airborne. He worked for the Dept. of Human Services as the Director. He was a member of the Prentiss Masonic Lodge and the Prentiss Methodist Church.   He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his brother, Terry Brinson and his sister, Dorothy Manton.   Mr. Brinson is survived by;  his wife  of 63 years Elizabeth Brinson; his two sons, Hector Harper (Deborah) Brinson of Prentiss and Richard Scott (Demarla) Brinson of Hattiesburg; five grandchildren, Allison Brinson Rayburn, Whitney O’Hare Nelson, Lauren Ctayle Brinson, Richard Cort Brinson and Chandler Harper Brinson; three great-grandchildren, Taylor Elizabeth Rayburn, Connor Marshall Rayburn and Ross Bryant Rayburn.   Visitation will be Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Saulters Funeral Home before the service.    Online condolences and a guest registry are available at www.saultersmoorefuneralhome.com.
