her family. In 2004, Judy and her husband, Howard Kittrell, retired to her
family’s homestead outside of Prentiss in the Lone Star community where she
lived until she moved into an assisted living facility. Until then, Judy
had been an active and faithful member of Lone Star Baptist Church. Upon
retiring to Prentiss, she worked for the Covington-Jeff Davis Baptist
Association. Judy’s most prized title was that of “Mammaw” to her eight
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Kittrell; her parents,
Paul and Irene Loftin; and her brother, Larry Loftin. She is survived by
her children Richie (Tammy) Miller of Terry, MS; Carmen (Randy) Polk of
Pelahatchie; Terry (Susan) Miller of Hattiesburg; her grandchildren Justin,
Michael, and Christopher Miller; Joanna and Alex Polk; Taylor, Jack, and
Payne Miller; and five great grandchildren; her sister, Brenda (Curtis)
McNeil of Prentiss; brother Gary (Linda) Loftin of Glade Park, Colorado;
brother Ralph (Patti) Loftin of Prentiss; sister Paulette Loftin of
Prentiss; sister-in-law Sandra Loftin of Prentiss, and a host of nieces and
nephews.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of
Covington Ridge Retirement Home in Collins and Castlewoods Place in Flowood
for the selfless care they provided their mother throughout her illness.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the
