Mary Lynn Williamson

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lynn Williamson will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, May 3, 2019 at the Saulter’s Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Williamson, age 87, went to be with her lord on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Twin Cities Hospital in Niceville, FL.  Reverend Tommy Broom will officiate and interment will be in the Society Hill Cemetery. Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Trey Williamson, Jack Williamson, Luke Williamson, Paul Williamson, Ian Williamson, Kevin Hemphill and Gene Hortman. Mary Lynn Hemphill Williamson was born on May 8, 1931 in Springhill, MS to Clifford Lee Hemphill and Myrtis Lanelle Jones Hemphill. Mrs. Williamson was the longtime owner/operator of Lott and Lynn’s Grocery in Society Hill until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of Society Hill Baptist Church. She was very active in her community and loved caring for her husband, children and grandchildren.  She was ever the care giver, caring for various family members throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her mother and father and her husband , Walter Lott Williamson. Mrs. Williamson is survived by 1 daughter, Kathye Williamson of Niceville, FL; 3 sons, Walter C. (Becky) Williamson, II of Meridian, David L. (Candy) Williamson of Niceville, FL and Mike (Nita) Williamson of Petal; 2 brothers, Billy Hemphill of Columbia and Jimmy Hemphill of Bogalusa, LA; 2 sisters, Carolyn Rials of Senatobia, MS and Edna Earle Wall of Palatka, FL; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
