Michael "Mickey" Morris

Funeral services for Mr. Michael “Mickey” Morris will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday March 10, 2019 at the Saulters Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Morris, age 68, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019 at The Jefferson Davis County Extended Care Facility in Prentiss.  Reverend Micah Rutland will officiate and interment will be in the New Hebron Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Donald Cole, Tommy Cole, C.W. Cole, Elliot Cole, David Sykes and Tony Sykes. Honorary pallbearer will be Brady Fairchild. Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Michael Vernon Morris was born on March 22, 1950 in Jefferson Davis County to Vernon Morris and Virginia Sherman Morris. He was a contractor in the field of construction. He was a member of Old Hebron Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. Mr. Morris is survived by his daughter, Shelley Fairchild (Jerry) of Magee and two grandchildren Kadie and Brady Fairchild. Visitation will be Sunday March 10, 2019 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm before the service at Saulters Funeral Home in Prentiss.
