Graveside services for Michael Frank Osborne will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Drummond Cemetery in Silver Creek. Mr. Daryl Craig will officiate. Mr. Osborne passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the River Oaks Hospital in Flowood. Saulters Moore Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Friends are invited to gather at the cemetery on Wednesday, beginning at 11:30 am.
Mike was born on October 7, 1951, in San Bernardino, California to Thomas and Jackie Baldwin Osborne. He worked several years at Deposit Guaranty Bank, where his skills built lasting connections. He later became a driver at Crossgates Floral in Brandon, a role that brought him immense joy through his interactions with customers during their happy occasions. Michael's career culminated in his retirement from ERMC Security, where he provided security for the Dogwood Mall in Flowood, ensuring a safe environment for all who visited. Mike was known for being a kind and loving person, especially to his family and grandson.
Mike enjoyed watching television and movies with his family. He particularly liked nature shows, SCI-FI, and mystery programs. He enjoyed taking walks with his family and speaking with neighbors and friends.
Mike also had a multitude of hobbies that reflected his diverse interests. He found solace in reading the Bible and studying history, especially Bible history. In his younger years, he embraced hunting and fishing, activities that connected him with the natural world. Additionally, Michael was an avid coin and stamp collector. He also had a fond appreciation for classic cars. Mr. Osborne was a member of the Intercontinental Church of God.
Mr. Osborne is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Jackie Baldwin Osborne.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carolyn Butler Osborne; his daughter, Rebekah Wilhelm; his son, James L. Osborn, all of Brandon; and his brother, George Osborne of Nebraska. Mr. Osborne also leaves behind his grandson, Andrew Wilhelm.
