Myra L. Daley

Funeral services for Myra Lee Daley will be conducted on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Saulters Moore Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Bassfield Cemetery. Rev. Brian Stewart will officiate. Mrs. Daley, 84, departed this life to live eternally with her Lord on Friday, December 31, 2021 at the Jefferson Davis Community Hospital in Prentiss. Mrs. Daley was born on March 18, 1937 in Columbia, MS to Robert Lee and Myra Cole Robbins. She worked many years as a seamstress at Edward Hyman in Prentiss. Myra had a passion for growing beautiful flowers in her yard and enjoyed working in her garden and canning vegetables. Another one of her pastimes was crocheting. Myra loved the holidays and will be remembered for her delicious Press Fruitcakes. She attended Bassfield Baptist Church. Serving as Pallbearers will be Marcus Graves, Chad Graves, Micah Bullock, Derek Daley, Jimmy Lowe, Hayden Graves. Nathan Lee will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer. Myra is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Daley, parents, Robert and Myra Robbins; her daughter, Tena Daley and a brother, Jearel Robbins. Mrs. Daley's memory will be cherished by her son, Wayne Daley (Laura) of Fayette, AL; 3 daughters, Kaye Graves (James) of Bassfield, Cheryl Bullock Hamilton (John) of Bassfield and Donna Lee (Larry) of Prentiss. Mawmaw Daley will also be remembered by her grandchildren, Marcus and Chad Graves, Micah Bullock, Nathan Lee, Derek and Dustin Daley, Dawn Daley Champagne, Mitsie Stewart and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 from 1:00 PM until the hour of service at Saulters Moore Funeral Home.
