Graveside services for Mr. Percy Derwood "P.D." Womack will be conducted at 11:30 Saturday morning, January 15, 2022 at New Hebron Cemetery. Reverend Ted Bowlin will officiate. Mr. Womack passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the Dream Catcher Assisted Living facility in Jackson, GA. Saulters Moore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Womack was born April 29, 1928 in Smith County, MS to Wallace G. and Naomi Sanderford Womack and was a veteran of the United States Air Force And the Mississippi National Guard. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wallace G. and Naomi Womack; his wife, Dixie Bolling Womack; daughter, Brenda Church and sister, Inez Farmer. Mr. Womack is survived by 2 sons, Steve Womack and Mark Berry (Wendy); 3 daughters, Shelia Morgan (Bill), Jennie Lee Duke and Julie Brunson (Lee); his son-in-law, Robin Church; 10 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Saulters Moore Funeral Home.
