Rachel Schexnayder Funeral services for Mrs. Rachel Schexnayder will be held at 11:00 am Monday, October 22, 2018, at the Saulters Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Schexnayder, 79, passed away from this life Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Merit Health Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg. Reverend Dwayne Mayo will officiate and interment will be in the Lonestar Cemetery in Lonestar, MS. Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be BradLee Legg-Deering, Laine Steagall, Jack Flynt, T.J. Mixon, Lance Steagall and Jeremy Baxter. Rachel Jane Schexnayder was born October 27, 1938 in Carson, MS to Jasper Newton Kirkley and Eunice Hazel Mathis Kirkley. Mrs. Schexnayder was an administrator in the oil and gas industry. She attended Lonestar United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; husband Ernest Joseph Schexnayder; and two brothers, Johnny Kirkley and Jasper Newton Kirkley, Jr. Mrs. Schexnayder is survived by her son, Victor Schexnayder (Stacy) of Prentiss; her daughter, Robyn Tengler-Steagall (Neil) of Prairieiville, LA; nine grandchildren; her brother Kenneth Kirkley (Shirley) of Collins as well as a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Monday, October 22, from 9:30am to 11:00am at Saulters Funeral Home.
