Sara C. Solideo was born on February 24, 1947 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Wayne and Mary Bourne Chance. Sara had a passion for going to church and was heavily involved as a volunteer. She had sung in the choir at Bethany Baptist Church, as well as Prentiss Baptist Church. A child of Christ, she loved the Lord with all of her heart, and also encouraged her family to put God first above anything else.
Sara spoke with generosity, love, and knowledge. She was extremely humble, understanding, and loved others equally. She always put others first and would do anything for them. Family meant the world to her and she treasured everyone deeply.
She also loved her cat, Sugar, so much that she would do anything for her. Sara's favorite hobby was reading all mysteries, especially cat mysteries. She collected rooster figurines, loved to travel, go camping, garden and attend shows-especially musicals.
Sara will be remembered as the "Angel that went back home"
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Mary Chance.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her daughter, Susan Solideo of Prentiss; brother, Wayne Chance (Libby), and sister, Linda Chance, both of Purvis; her grandchildren, Miranda Carrillo of Prentiss, Ricky Myers of Brandon; and her great-granddaughter, Isabella Cavanaugh; and her former husband and the father of her children, Vincent Solideo of Gretna, LA.
