Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 2PM, at Ellisville Cemetery, Highway 29 in Ellisville, Mississippi. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 5:30 – 7:30 PM, at Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL. 

Hughes Funeral Home, 26209 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL, has charge. Saulters Moore Funeral Home has been entrusted with local arrangements.

Shanda Holloway Leggett, 46 years old, was born in Jackson, Mississippi, on July 2, 1979. She was a resident of Daphne, Alabama and passed away Friday, April 10, 2026, at Saads Retreat Hospice in Mobile, AL.

Shanda loved God and her family. She also loved working and playing with children. She enjoyed caring for animals and reading in her spare time. Shanda worked as a cosmetologist.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Earl Holloway and Mary Gaye Douglas Holloway of Carson, MS and her maternal grandparents, JM and Juanice Robertson Walters of Ellisville, MS as well as her brother, Jason Douglas Holloway.

Shanda is survived by her parents, Harry and Brenda Walters Holloway; her son, David Keith Leggett, III “Trey” and his wife, Morgan Taylor Leggett of Loxley, AL. She is also survived by her grandson, Corbin Leggett; and her brother, Scott Matthew Holloway of Daphne, AL.

Shanda had many special friends who helped care for her during her illness, including David Bertagnoli of Loxley, AL and Christina Gros of Bay Minette, AL.
