Thomas "Fenderman" Fortenberry

Family Memorial Services will be held graveside, Saturday, May 25, 2019, at 9:30 AM at Whitesand Baptist Church Cemetery.  Mr. Tommy “Fenderman” Fortenberry of Prentiss, age 84, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.  Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Tommy Fortenberry was born on April 22, 1935 in Jefferson Davis County, MS to Scott Walter Fortenberry and Ada Elizabeth Lee Fortenberry. Mr. Fortenberry was a laborer in the manufacturing industry retired from KLH.  He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.  He was known as “Fenderman” because of his love for music and he played the base guitar. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and 1 brother, Walter Scott Fortenberry. Mr. Fortenberry is survived by 1 sister, Loretta Greene of Carson and a number of nieces and nephews.
