Obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Toni Lynn Douglas will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Shivers Baptist Church with interment following the New Hebron Cemetery. The Reverend Gene Douglas will officiate, assisted by the Reverend Earl Clark. Mrs. Douglas, age 50, entered into the eternal rest of her Lord on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Saulters Moore Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening, September 13, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Saulters Moore Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Monday morning at 10:00 AM until the hour of service at 11:00 AM at Shivers Baptist Church.

Toni will be carried to her final rest by those honored to serve as pallbearers including Charles Welch, Dean Banks, Keith Shows, Clinton Smith, Chad Douglas, and Dr. Jaishankar Jagadeesan.

Toni was born on October 11, 1975 in Brookhaven, and was raised in Silver Creek. After high school, Toni enrolled at Co-Lin Community College, where she became a Licensed Practical Nurse. Nursing was truly her ministry, and she was a dedicated caregiver with a compassionate heart and desire to serve others. For the last several years, Toni had worked at Dr. J's clinic in Prentiss, and her patients dearly loved her. Of late, she had gone through rigorous training and had earned her certification as an Aesthetician.

Toni was also a loving mother and wife, supporting her family in every aspect of their lives. She will especially be remembered for her love of spending time with those she loved most—particularly at her “happy place” at Orange Beach, where the sugar sand and Gulf waters brought her peace and tranquility. She also loved her four fur babies, Mia, Lilly, Tully, and Lucy. Toni was a member of Shivers Baptist Church.

Toni is preceded in death by her grandmother, Oreva Nations, and her daughter, Kaylin Reddoch.

Her memory will forever be cherished by her husband of 28 years, Toby Douglas; her daughter, Ashley Douglas, and her son Dylan Douglas, all of the home in New Hebron; and her mother, Kay Nations of Silver Creek. Toni also leaves behind a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunt, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family especially wants to extend special appreciation to their dear friends Charles and Cindy Welch who have walked beside them during this journey.
