Funeral services for Mr. W.G. Bridges will be held at 12:00 pm Monday, March 4, 2019 at the Saulter’s Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Bridges, age 79, passed away Friday, March 1, 2019 at his residence. Reverend D. R. Buckley will officiate and interment will be in the Prentiss Apostolic Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh O’Mary, Henry West, Hayden Robbins, Gage Spikes, Joseph Graves, and Mathew Branch. Saulters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. William G. Bridges was born on January 24, 1940 in Prentiss to Willis Bennett Bridges and Mattie Mae Griffith Bridges. He was raised in the Whitesand community. He was a retired meat processor and a member of Prentiss Apostolic Church. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his grandparents, Frank and Anna Bridges and Thomas and Cora Sue Griffith and one nephew, Eddie McRaney. Mr. Bridges is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Goldie Eileen Bridges; two daughters, Connie West (Rex) and Cherry O’Mary; three grandchildren, Josh O’Mary (Laura), Bonnie Branch (Matt) and Henry West (Charlie); one sister, Brenda McRaney (Reese); one brother, Jerry Bridges (Judy); one niece, Michelle Jones (Bart); one nephew, Shane McRaney (Kim); three great nieces, Ally, Maddie and Sophie; three step children, Goldie Davis (John Wayne), Donald Spikes (Amber) and Ronald Spikes (Donna); eight step grandchildren, Haley, Hannah, Haydon, Gage, Carleigh, Mason, Bryce and Kingston; one step great grandchild, Emma. Visitation will be Monday, March 4, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00  pm at Saulters Funeral Home. Online condolences and a guest registry are available at www.saultersmoorefuneralhome.com
